Personal Finance: Credit management

Rhett Kyle, Forsyth County Extension Office’s financial literacy agent will be teaching a monthly series on personal financial management.  

During this session, participants will explore what credit is and why it’s crucial for securing loans, renting homes, and even landing jobs. The program provides general information on building and maintaining a strong credit history, including strategies for responsible credit use, such as paying bills on time and managing credit card balances.  Participants will also learn how to safely obtain their credit reports annually through the three major companies that offer credit reports.
