Wild Places in Backyard Spaces Series: Building Better Backyards for Birds

Learn how to create backyard spaces that support both resident birds and migrating birds. This workshop will cover the basics of bird identification throughout the year, challenges that face migrating birds in spring and fall, backyard design to support bird populations, use of bird feeders, and native plants that support specific species of birds. Rebecca Craps, an agent of the North Carolina Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center, will be the presenter.
