Clemmons Cookbook Club members choose a recipe from a preselected book, make the recipe, and bring it in for tasting. Everyone is welcome, but you must bring a dish to share.

Children will discover new words and build early literacy skills in English and Spanish through stories, songs, and activities. 

Recommended for children 18-36 months.

Tai Chi is a form of gentle exercise, a method of moving meditation and a means of cultivating health and well-being. Tai Chi is suitable for all ages and abilities so it's never too late to start. 

Our monthly Witchy Washy and Whatnot Crafting group is a great way to meet other crafters and learn to make all sorts of fun projects, many of which include the use of washi tape! 

Preschoolers will develop language and pre-reading skills through stories and songs to help facilitate their growth into successful readers.

Do you love to build? Join the Builders Club at Lewisville Library! Builders will hear a great story and then build a project related to the story with LEGOs, K'NEX, or the many other building supplies that we have!

Ages 9-18. In this hands-on activity youth will build their own microscope called a foldscope. This compact microscope will be used to review several specimens to identify the compounds that exist within our soil and water.

Summer is ending, but sunflowers still shine. Brighten your fall with a sunflower painting instruction with artist Donna Calloway. This is an 18+ program. Space is limited. No experience necessary.

Players of all ages and all skill levels are welcome to drop by and play at the Carver Chess Club. Boards will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own chess set as well.

Special Collections Librarian Grace May will be speaking on the importance of preserving family recipes, including tips on interviewing your family members and saving the recipes they share.

The Classic Gold Music Jam provides a welcoming venue for musicians at all levels to enjoy fellowship and music. Bring an instrument to play or grab a chair and watch.
