Children will discover new words and build early literacy skills in English and Spanish through stories, songs, and activities. 

Recommended for children ages 2-4.

Tai Chi is a form of gentle exercise, a method of moving meditation and a means of cultivating health and well-being. Tai Chi is suitable for all ages and abilities so it's never too late to start. 

Preschoolers will develop language and pre-reading skills through stories and songs to help facilitate their growth into successful readers.

Today's theme is turtles.

Recommended for children ages 3-6.

Tatting is an art technique that involves tying knots to make lace.

Come and join yarn crafters who like to knit, crochet, embroider and such. Share each other’s company and maybe a tip or two about a project. Bring your own project to work on or use some simple supplies and patterns we have on hand.

While building gross and fine motor skills, coordination and phonological awareness through rhyming, participants will engage in songs, movement activities and stories that promote the skills needed for reading and writing.

This program will provide kids a place to study, work on their own projects, and learn about library resources for education and tutoring. DIY stress-relieving activities such as coloring and word puzzles will be available.

Players of all ages and all skill levels are welcome to drop by and play at the Carver Chess Club. Boards will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own chess set as well.

The Classic Gold Music Jam provides a welcoming venue for musicians at all levels to enjoy fellowship and music. Bring an instrument to play or grab a chair and watch.
