Join Librarian Jason for a 30 minute toddler storytime every Wednesday, 10am, at the Central Library. This celebration of early literacy skills features picture books, songs, rhymes and one bilingual English/Spanish book every week. 

Tai Chi is a form of gentle exercise, a method of moving meditation and a means of cultivating health and well-being. Tai Chi is suitable for all ages and abilities so it's never too late to start. 

Preschoolers will develop language and pre-reading skills through stories and songs to help facilitate their growth into successful readers.

Recommended for children ages 3-6.

Come and join yarn crafters who like to knit, crochet, embroider and such. Share each other’s company and maybe a tip or two about a project. Bring your own project to work on or use some simple supplies and patterns we have on hand.

Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) aims to help families learn more how to plan/prepare well balanced, nutritious meals all on a feasible budget.

While building gross and fine motor skills, coordination and phonological awareness through rhyming, participants will engage in songs, movement activities and stories that promote the skills needed for reading and writing.

The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program is: 

• For limited resource youth and families with children

• Based on the latest research in nutrition and physical activity

Most suitable for ages 12-18.

Join us and fellow movie lovers at the Lewisville Branch as we show a family-friendly film once a month. Participants may bring their own snacks and drinks. We’ll see you at the library!
