Through stories and interactive play, toddlers will build language skills, discover new words, while exploring letters and sounds. Learn with music, picture books, rhymes and even explore other languages.

Your little ones will explore board books, finger plays and lap-bounce activities to encourage language development, brain stimulation, and socialization.

Join us at 10 a.m. on the 2nd Tuesday of each month or at 6 p.m.

Children will engage in songs, movement activities, and stories that promote the skills needed for reading and writing. They'll also build motor skills, coordination, and phonological awareness.

Recommended for children ages 2-6.

Preschoolers will develop language and pre-reading skills through stories, songs, and activities to help facilitate their growth into successful readers.

Recommended for children ages 3-5.

This group welcomes all needlework artists at any skill level to chat and work on individual needlework projects and peruse needlework books from the library’s collection.

Join us for a life-saving event! The Walkertown Branch Library is partnering with the American Red Cross to host a Community Blood Drive on Tuesday, May 13, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Kids are invited to join us for an hour of board games and group video games such as Just Dance and Mario Kart.   

Looking for a way to spend an afternoon reading your favorite tween books and hanging out with friends? Stop by between 4pm-5pm for a relaxing afternoon of reading, snacking, coloring, or chilling. For tweens 8-12.

This program is recommended for teens ages 12-18.

Join us for an evening of financial literacy basics. This program is not only about credit reports and scores, but also about building productive credit histories and repairing or improving credit, including credit fraud.
