Forsyth County Department of Social Services (DSS) staff members will be on site one day per week to answer residents’ questions, provide information, and help people apply for DSS services including energy programs, food and nutrition assistance,

AARP Foundation WS Tax-Aide will be providing free tax assistance by appointment only.

Celebrate Forsyth Creek Week by painting river rocks and learning how these smooth stones are formed and the important role they play in their environment. 

Program recommended for adults. 

Unwind with a relaxing morning of coloring, coffee, and community. Coloring sheets, colored pencils, and coffee will be provided.  

LIFT is an evidence-based physical activity and nutrition program for older adults (ages 65+) that is designed to improve strength, balance, flexibility, and social connection.

Join us at Central Library for Sittercise, an exercise program that helps with strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, endurance, and overall improved function. 

Learn the calming practice of Tai Chi at the Lewisville Branch Library. This form of low-impact exercise and deep breathing is known to reduce stress and improve balance, strength, and flexibility. 

Join us at the Rural Hall/Stanleyville Branch Library for Fourth Friday Family Films. Enjoy a G- or PG-rated film with the family. Snacks will be provided.

March's film is Little Women (2019, rated PG).

Use your STEM skills while discovering more about our planet and how to protect it through a program from the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center.
