Forsyth County Department of Social Services (DSS) staff members will be on site one day per week to answer residents’ questions, provide information, and help people apply for DSS services including energy programs, food and nutrition assistance,

Tai Chi is a form of gentle exercise, a method of moving meditation and a means of cultivating health and well-being. Tai Chi is suitable for all ages and abilities, so it's never too late to start. 

Children will build language skills, explore letters and sounds, and discover new words through stories, music, rhymes, and interactive play.  

Recommended for children ages 18 months to 3 years and their caregivers. 

Children will grow into successful readers through stories, songs, and activities.

Recommended for children ages 3-6.

Do you want to show off your culinary expertise? Or pick up some new cooking tips and tricks? Or just sample a lot of delicious, homemade food?

Tweens and teens: challenge your brain with food facts and tasty trivia while you delight your taste buds with snacks from other countries. We'll learn about a different country each month.

Kids are invited to join our monthly craft group. They'll meet other crafters, use their creativity, and learn to make all sorts of fun projects! Supplies will be provided. Recommended for children ages 6-12. 

The Library's Makerspace at Forsyth County Central Library has 3D printers, sewing machines, and other technology as well as space and worktables for large creative projects. Access to Makerspace equipment is first come, first served.
