Join Librarian Jason for a 30 minute toddler storytime every Wednesday, 10am, at the Central Library. This celebration of early literacy skills features picture books, songs, rhymes and one bilingual English/Spanish book every week.
Tai Chi is a form of gentle exercise, a method of moving meditation and a means of cultivating health and well-being. Tai Chi is suitable for all ages and abilities so it's never too late to start.
Come and join yarn crafters who like to knit, crochet, embroider and such. Share each other’s company and maybe a tip or two about a project. Bring your own project to work on or use some simple supplies and patterns we have on hand.
While building gross and fine motor skills, coordination and phonological awareness through rhyming, participants will engage in songs, movement activities and stories that promote the skills needed for reading and writing.
