Preschoolers will develop language and pre-reading skills through stories and songs to help facilitate their growth into successful readers.

Recommended for children ages 3-6.

Join Librarian Jason for a 30 minute toddler storytime every Wednesday, 10am, at the Central Library. This celebration of early literacy skills features picture books, songs, rhymes and one bilingual English/Spanish book every week. 

Join us on the First and Third Wednesday at 11 a.m. for Music and Movement! Children will engage in songs, movement activities, and stories that promote the skills needed for reading and writing.

Come and join yarn crafters who like to knit, crochet, embroider and such. Share each other’s company and maybe a tip or two about a project. Bring your own project to work on or use some simple supplies and patterns we have on hand.

While building gross and fine motor skills, coordination and phonological awareness through rhyming, participants will engage in songs, movement activities and stories that promote the skills needed for reading and writing.

For this art hour, teens and tweens will create their own beaded sunglasses! All supplies provided.
