Preschoolers will develop language and pre-reading skills through stories and songs to help facilitate their growth into successful readers.

Join Librarian Jason for a 30 minute toddler storytime every Wednesday, 10am, at the Central Library. This celebration of early literacy skills features picture books, songs, rhymes and one bilingual English/Spanish book every week. 

Tai Chi is a form of gentle exercise, a method of moving meditation and a means of cultivating health and well-being. Tai Chi is suitable for all ages and abilities, so it's never too late to start. 

July is Edgy Veggie Carrot Dog Month. Chef Davis will demonstrate how to transform a plain carrot into the star of your cookout. Registration is required. Children ages 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

While building gross and fine motor skills, coordination and phonological awareness through rhyming, participants will engage in songs, movement activities and stories that promote the skills needed for reading and writing.

This program is designed help people to learn how to stay safe online. We'll also explore great online searching strategies including NC Live.

Join us for an artistic-filled summer this year as we Color Our World during Summer Reading Program. Each week we will tackle a different avenue of art and create a unique project. 

Tea Time Cozies Book Club for all patrons who enjoy a cozy mystery, a cup of tea and a good discussion. 

Children aged 4 through tweens are invited to do fun (and MESSY!) STEAM activities. We are repeating some of the most popular STEAM activities this summer.

Join us monthly as we build, create, and explore with LEGOs at the Reynolda Manor Branch Library. We will create with LEGOs based on a pre-determined theme and then show off our awesome creations to all our friends. 

The Library's Makerspace at Forsyth County Central Library has 3D printers, sewing machines, and other technology as well as space and worktables for large creative projects. Access to Makerspace equipment is first come, first served. 

Embark on a creative journey with our LEGO Club, which brings children together to explore the wonderful world of LEGO building. Recommended for children ages 6-11.

The Write Stuff is a peer-to-peer writing group where writers aspiring and published authors of all types can brainstorm, provide feedback, and offer accountability to those seeking to finish their writing projects.
