Tuesday at Two Book Club meets every first Tuesday of the month at 2 p.m. The books are selected by the members and are a mixture of fiction (all genre) and non-fiction. This is a perfect group to join to socialize and discuss books.

This long-standing book club covers a wide range of genres with each participant selecting a title for their assigned month.

Join us for this #Booktok-driven program perfect for fans of anything that has gone viral on social media. Club members enjoy themed snacks related to the titles being discussed. 

The horrifyingly thrilled book club is a space to talk about horror, mysteries, and thrillers! Each month we pick a suspenseful book within these genres and discuss all the eerily shocking things about it.

This is an eclectic book club hosted by the Southside Branch Library. Expect dynamic conversations and excellent snacks. We have book choices that incorporate the tastes of the whole group.

Looking for a way to spend an afternoon reading your favorite tween books and hanging out with friends? Stop by between 4pm-5pm for a relaxing afternoon of reading, snacking, coloring, or chilling. For tweens 8-12.

Join us for our hybrid teen book club! Each month we will meet in person and online. In this book club, you’ll pick one of the two prompts, read a book that fits the prompt, then join us at one of the libraries or via Zoom. 

This unique club combines the joy of reading with the thrill of cinema, offering adult readers a fresh perspective on beloved stories. 

How it works: 

Do you love reading a good murder mystery? This book club will read a selection from the genre each month.

Join us for an adult book club where members will discuss The Heaven and Earth Grocery Store by James McBride. Attendees can participate in-person or virtually during this book club.

The Cover-to-Cover Book Club meets on the 4th Thursday of each month.  We're meeting a week earlier in May due to the Memorial Day Holiday closure. 

Clemmons Cookbook Club members choose a recipe from a preselected book, make the recipe, and bring it in for tasting. Everyone is welcome, but you must bring a dish to share.

The Alliance Book Club is dedicated to reading and discussing diverse books by and/or about members of the LGBTQ+ community.

The Voices of Change book club is a supportive and community oriented literary space that brings together readers that want to hear stories told by individuals who have been underrepresented but still deserve the chance to be told.

If you appreciate great beer and great books, meet us at Gypsy Road Brewing Company to enjoy a pint while discussion our book of the month.  Our May title will be Glory Be by Danielle Arceneaux.

Friends Book Club meets every fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. The group reads a mixture of fiction (all genres) and non-fiction, and the books are selected by the group.

Tea Time Cozies Book Club for all patrons who enjoy a cozy mystery, a cup of tea and a good discussion. 

Join us for a conversation with novelist, screenwriter, and film producer Tiffany L. Warren as she discusses her new historical fiction novel, The Unexpected Diva.   

The Book Lovers' Book Club reads reads a variety of titles, including some nonfiction. Titles are selected six months to a year in advance, and book club members take turns facilitating. Call 336-703-2920 for more information about the club.
