This is an eclectic book club hosted by the Southside Branch Library. Expect dynamic conversations and excellent snacks. We have book choices that incorporate the tastes of the whole group.

Join us as we read a mixture of older and newer fiction titles from all genres. Maybe you didn’t get a chance to discuss an older title the first time you read it. Let’s find out if the new books are worth all the hype.

Are you a dude who likes to read? Are you a dude who is curious what other dudes are reading? Are you a dude who wants to get back into reading, but doesn’t know where to start?

Do you love reading a good murder mystery? This book club will read a selection from the genre each month.

The Alliance Book Club is dedicated to reading and discussing diverse books by and/or about members of the LGBTQ+ community.

The Voices of Change book club is a supportive and community oriented literary space that brings together readers that want to hear stories told by individuals who have been underrepresented but still deserve the chance to be told.  

Friends Book Club meets every fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. The group reads a mixture of fiction (all genres) and non-fiction, and the books are selected by the group.

The Book Lovers' Club reads a variety of titles, including some nonfiction. Titles are selected six months to a year in advance, and book club members take turns facilitating.  

Tuesday at Two Book Club meets every first Tuesday of the month at 2 p.m. The books are selected by the members and are a mixture of fiction (all genre) and non-fiction. This is a perfect group to join to socialize and discuss books.

This long-standing book club covers a wide range of genres with each participant selecting a title for their assigned month. 

We select our books a few months at a time, so watch this space for updates. 

Do you like your fiction short and sweet? Brief, but intriguing? Succinct, yet mysterious? Then you should join the Short Story Society! We meet on the first Thursday of each month at 7 p.m.

Book Walk is an outdoor walking book club. Discuss this month's horror/thriller while enjoying an informal,1 hour walk around Washington Park and West Salem.

The Cover-to-Cover Book Club usually meets on the 4th Thursday of each month (holiday closures permitting). 

This month we will discuss Super Host by Kate Russo.  Copies are available for check out at the front desk.
