We select our crafts a few months at a time, so check back.

The Book Lovers' Book Club reads a variety of titles, including some nonfiction. Book Club members take turns facilitating.  

Children will build language skills, explore letters and sounds, and discover new words through stories, music, rhymes, and interactive play.

Recommended for children ages 18 months through 3 years and their caregivers.

Children will enjoy stories, songs, and movement activities that promote a love for books and reading with family and friends. 

Recommended for children ages 6 and under and their caregivers.

Children will grow into successful readers through stories, songs, and activities.

Join us at the Rural Hall/Stanleyville Branch for a Sensory Storytime tailored for children with autism, ADHD, or other sensory processing challenges.

Chair yoga boosts strength, flexibility, and mental well-being from the comfort and stability of a chair. This class is led by Registered Yoga Instructor Jane Holtje. All equipment is provided.

The Tuesday at Two Book Club reads books selected by the members that are a mixture of fiction (all genre) and non-fiction. This is a perfect group to join to socialize and discuss books.  

All are welcome to attend the nonprofit organization's programs of genealogical and historical interest.

This long-standing book club covers a wide range of genres with each participant selecting a title for their assigned month. 

We select our books a few months at a time, so watch this space for updates. 

Join us monthly for STEAM programs for ages 8-11. Registration is required.

Children and tweens are invited to use their imaginations and problem-solving skills while building with blocks, LEGOs, Cubelets, Play-Doh, and more.

Recommended for children ages 4-8 and families.

Join other men in supportive discussions regarding topics such as health, community, and fatherhood.  These meetings are hosted in cooperation with the Forsyth County Department of Public Health.

Tai Chi is a form of gentle exercise, a method of moving meditation and a means of cultivating health and well-being. Tai Chi is suitable for all ages and abilities, so it's never too late to start. 

Join us weekly for our Music & Movement Storytime! Children will engage in songs, movement activities, and stories that reinforce early reading skills. 

Recommended for children ages 2-6 and their caregivers.

Come and join yarn crafters who like to knit, crochet, embroider and such. Share each other’s company and maybe a tip or two about a project. Bring your own project to work on or use some simple supplies and patterns we have on hand.

Children and their caregivers will enjoy songs, activities, and stories that reinforce early reading skills. 

Recommended for children ages 2-5 and their caregivers.

Do you play the Pokémon battle game, or would you like to learn how? Do you want to meet with other Pokémon lovers? Love trading your Pokémon cards? Join our Pokémon club! Beginners are welcome. For children and teens of all ages.

The Library's Makerspace at Forsyth County Central Library has 3D printers, sewing machines, and other technology as well as space and worktables for large creative projects. Access to Makerspace equipment is first come, first served. 

Join us and fellow movie lovers at the Lewisville Branch as we show a family-friendly film once a month. Participants may bring their own snacks and drinks. We’ll see you at the library!
