Join us every Monday from 1-3 PM at the Walkertown Branch Library for our weekly Crochet and Knitting Class! Whether you've always wanted to learn these timeless crafts or are looking to refresh your skills, this class is perfect for you.

Every third Tuesday of each month, children will complete a different art project. 

Most suitable for ages 6-12.

Tweens! Are you tired of being judged for your art skills? Register to attend our Bad Art in the Afternoon program and come to the Central Library Children's Room to try your hand and making the worst art you can!

Bring some joy to your home or garden this spring. Decorating your own small terracotta pot. With the freedom to decorate however you’d like with supplies provided. This is an 18 and older program. No experience necessary.

This group welcomes all needlework artists at any skill level to chat and work on individual needlework projects and peruse needlework books from the library’s collection. 

Our monthly Witchy Washy and Whatnot Crafting group is a great way to meet other crafters and learn to make all sorts of fun projects, many of which include the use of washi tape! 

Maker Mornings are intended to bring together adults who enjoy working on do-it-yourself projects and trying new forms of art.

Immerse yourself in the beauty of Asian culture this Asian and Pacific Heritage Month! Join us for an enchanting afternoon of art and creativity at the Walkertown Library Branch.

In this hands-on workshop, you'll:

Create a simple craft with us based on the Storytime theme of the week.  Recommended for ages 3-5 and their caregivers.

Would you like to learn how to paint flowers, birds, and other denizens of nature? Local artist Donna Calloway will be offering beginners acrylic painting classes on the 3rd Saturday and 4th Thursday of each month from 2-4:30 p.m.

Whether you are a seasoned crafter or just want to learn, consider joining Triad Sip & Stitch, our library’s weekly knit and crochet group.  This group meets every Monday in the library’s Makerspace from 9:30 a.m.

Unleash your inner architect and build STEM skills with our STEM Lego Challenge! Come by on this school out, early release, or break day and challenge yourself to complete the Lego Building Challenge.

Join fellow teen writers and published teen author Bianca Jones to share feedback, learn about the publishing process and more. Ages 12 to 18.

Grow your skillz with our Jewelry Making for Beginners for Tweens! Learn how to make your own jewelry from supplies provided. Registration is required. This program is intended for tweens ages 8-12.

Color & Coffee is a morning to relax, color, be with others and enjoy a cup of coffee on the house. Coloring sheets, colored pencils and coffee will be available for participants. 

Saturday Crafterday: Stop by the library anytime from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. to use craft supplies to make whatever you want. Different supplies will be out each Saturday so you can always be creative and make something new.
