Color & Coffee is a morning to relax, color, be with others and enjoy a cup of coffee on the house. Coloring sheets, colored pencils and coffee will be available for participants. 

The Alliance Book Club is a library book club dedicated to reading and discussing books by and/or about members of the LGBTQIA+ community. The Club meets at the NorthStar LGBTQ+ Community Center the fourth Saturday of every month.

Dive into your memories and transform them into a journal that tells a story during Junk Journaling, a program with Jasmine Huff, one of our Artists in Residence. The program is Saturday, Oct. 26 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

The Voices of Change book club is a supportive and community oriented literary space that brings together readers that want to hear stories told by individuals who have been underrepresented but still deserve the chance to be told.

The Cover-to-Cover Book Club meets on the last Monday of the month at noon and reads a variety of fiction and non-fiction selections. Copies of the monthly selections will be held behind the desk for checkout.

Create a spooky masterpiece. With instruction by Paint, Palette, Pizzazz, you will paint your own pumpkin piece of art. On Tuesday, October 29 from 5:30-7 p.m. in the Central Library Makerspace. This is an 18+ program. Spots are limited.

This is an eclectic book club, hosted by the Southside Branch Library. Expect dynamic conversations and excellent snacks. We have book choices that incorporate the tastes of the whole group. The book lineup has been chosen throughout 2024.

The Book Lovers' Book Club reads reads a variety of titles, including some nonfiction. Titles are selected six months to a year in advance, and book club members take turns facilitating. Call 336-703-2920 for more information about the club.

Join your mind and body in this beginner-level yoga class led by Registered Yoga Teacher Jane Holtje.  All equipment is provided. All you need are comfortable clothes (that allow movement), maybe a water, and let's get started.

Tuesday at Two Book Club meets every first Tuesday of the month at 2 p.m. The books are selected by the members and are a mixture of fiction (all genre) and non-fiction. This is a perfect group to join to socialize and discuss books.
