Your little ones will explore board books, finger plays and lap-bounce activities to encourage language development, brain stimulation, and socialization.

Children will engage in songs, movement activities, and stories that promote the skills needed for reading and writing. They'll also build motor skills, coordination, and phonological awareness.

Recommended for children ages 2-6.

Join Librarian Jason for a 30 minute toddler storytime every Wednesday, 10am, at the Central Library. This celebration of early literacy skills features picture books, songs, rhymes and one bilingual English/Spanish book every week. 

Tai Chi is a form of gentle exercise, a method of moving meditation and a means of cultivating health and well-being. Tai Chi is suitable for all ages and abilities so it's never too late to start. 

Join us for stories, songs, and fun as we build reading and school readiness skills! Preschool age children and their caregivers welcome. Thursday's at 10am in the Central Library Children's Room. 

Interested in playing video games with friends, but don't know where to start? Join us for tween video gaming at the Central Library every other week on Tuesday evenings. What video games would you like to see? Let us know!

The movie matinee series is carefully curated and thoughtfully selected for a diverse audience. It's designed to entertain, educate, and inspire viewers by showcasing films that provoke thought, spark conversation, and evoke powerful emotions.

Families will be able to come in and enjoy centers in the Forsyth Central Auditorium. They will be able to explore books, puzzles, blocks, crafts etc... This program is meant to engage children and their parents.
