Join us for a fun and creative workshop where library lovers can design and create their own personalized library card holders. Ages 5-11. Please call to register. Registration required by Nov. 4. 

Color & Coffee is a morning to relax, color, be with others and enjoy a cup of coffee on the house. Coloring sheets, colored pencils and coffee will be available for participants. 

This class is for beginners they will learn how to start a project, work basic stitches, rows and rounds, change colors, determine gauge and sizing, and read instructions.

Space is limited for this event. 

This group welcomes all needlework artists at any skill level to chat and work on individual needlework projects and peruse needlework books from the library’s collection. 

We love book here at the Forsyth Central Library Branch and we hope you do too. Create our own journal and learn about book binding with Art SHAC. This is an 18+ program. Spots are limited. No art experience necessary.

In this class you will learn how to improve your sewing skills by taking old clothing to make sustainable fashion that’s both creative and eco-friendly. 

Join us for a morning of collage with artist Katie Wolf. Katie will give a brief introduction to the history and significance of collage, her own work, and the techniques and materials she uses daily.

Would you like to learn how to paint with acrylics?  Local artist Donna Calloway is offering free monthly acrylic painting classes for beginners. Seats are limited, so registration is required. 

Kids are invited to join our monthly craft group. Meet other crafters and learn to make all sorts of fun projects! In November, we'll be making splatter leaf paintings. Supplies will be provided.

Art On the Spot

We have the supplies and you have the vision. You can either join in with a group art activity or imagine and create on your own.

The Bluegrass Jam provides a welcoming venue for musicians at all levels to enjoy fellowship and music. Bring an instrument to play or grab a chair and listen.

Children will complete a different art project each month. The craft for November is an Autumn tree sculpture.

Recommended for children ages 6-12.

Do you love to build? Join the Builders Club at Lewisville Library! Builders will hear a great story and then build a project related to the story with LEGOs, K'NEX, or the many other building supplies that we have!
