Calling all young scientists ages 6-11! Join us for Science Saturday at the library, where we'll explore exciting experiments, hands-on activities, and fascinating discoveries. It's the perfect way to spark curiosity and have fun with science!

In this workshop, participants will learn a bit about the history of photography from Artist in Residence Jasmine Huff, and discover the science behind cyanotypes.

Would you like to learn how to paint with acrylics?  Local artist Donna Calloway is offering free monthly acrylic painting classes for beginners. Seats are limited, so registration is required. 

Kids are invited to join our monthly craft group. Meet other crafters and learn to make all sorts of fun projects! In September, we'll be making glitter slime. Supplies will be provided.

Level Up: Adult Gamer Society is an 18+ program where you can bring your games, your friends, or just yourself, and play an array of games including a Nintendo Switch, tabletop games, card games, board games, and more.

Ages 9-18. In this hands-on activity youth will build their own microscope called a foldscope. This compact microscope will be used to review several specimens to identify the compounds that exist within our soil and water.

Summer is ending, but sunflowers still shine. Brighten your fall with a sunflower painting instruction with artist Donna Calloway. This is an 18+ program. Space is limited. No experience necessary.
