Week Calendar

Through stories and interactive play, toddlers will build language skills and discover new words while exploring letters and sounds. They'll learn with music, picture books, rhymes, and even explore other languages.

Tai Chi is a form of gentle exercise, a method of moving meditation and a means of cultivating health and well-being. Tai Chi is suitable for all ages and abilities so it's never too late to start.

Color & Coffee is a morning to relax, color, be with others and enjoy a cup of coffee on the house. Coloring sheets, colored pencils and coffee will be available for participants. 

The Mystery Book Club invites members to put their detective skills to work as they discuss a new mystery every month. Meets the second Saturday of each month virtually via Zoom.

Children will use their five senses to explore different activities. This event is a caregiver led activity. 

While building gross and fine motor skills, coordination and phonological awareness through rhyming, participants will engage in songs, movement activities and stories that promote the skills needed for reading and writing.

This intergenerational program is filled with stories, songs, and movement that encourage early literacy skill development.

Recommended for children of all ages.

Adults and teens ages 15+ are invited to get together to play tabletop and strategy games in a friendly, inclusive environment. 

Attention chess players of all ages: You are invited to play chess at Clemmons Branch Library every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 4-5:30 p.m. Learn new strategies and meet new friends!

Have you ever wished for more fun holidays to celebrate, while also learning interesting facts and trivia? Then you should attend Celebration Wednesdays at 4:00-5:30 p.m.

Join us for an hour of video games every Wednesday and sample a variety of games appropriate for ages 8 to 12. 

Tweens looking for a place to hang out? Something to do? Join us on Mondays for a variety of activities at 6p.m.

The Book Lovers' Book Club reads reads a variety of titles, including some nonfiction. Titles are selected six months to a year in advance, and book club members take turns facilitating. Call 336-703-2920 for more information about the club.
