Read and sing with your baby while exposing them to new sights, sounds, and expressions during this fun and lively Storytime.

Tai Chi is a form of gentle exercise, a method of moving meditation and a means of cultivating health and well-being. Tai Chi is suitable for all ages and abilities, so it's never too late to start. 

Our monthly Witchy Washy and Whatnot Crafting group is a great way to meet other crafters and learn to make all sorts of fun projects, many of which include the use of washi tape!

Create a simple craft with us based on the Storytime theme of the week.  Recommended for ages 3-6 and their caregivers.

Join us at Central Library for Sittercise, an exercise program that helps with strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, endurance, and overall improved function.

We're reading some amazing books in the Central Children's Library that we want to share! Join us to hear snippets of some of our favorite reads that we think you will love too and enjoy fun activities and crafts based on the books. 

Join us at the Rural Hall/Stanleyville Branch Library for Fourth Friday Family Films. Enjoy a G- or PG-rated film with the family. Snacks will be provided.

January's film is Dog Man (rated PG).

Build a LEGO project on a given theme and meet fellow LEGO enthusiasts. 

Recommended for children ages 6-11. 

Get creative and build with LEGOs, KEVA planks, Strawbees, marble runs, and more! Drop in for free play or try our fun monthly building challenge. No registration required—just bring your imagination!

Children will grow, learn, and connect as a community while learning essential skills including as planting, maintaining, and harvesting a garden.

Play battle games, meet up with other fans, trade cards, and more at the Pokémon Club.

Kids and teens are invited to drop in to play multiplayer video games on the Nintendo Switch with other kids.

The Library's Makerspace at Forsyth County Central Library has 3D printers, sewing machines, and other technology as well as space and worktables for large creative projects. Access to Makerspace equipment is first come, first served. 

Unwind from the school day with a screening of a G or PG movie. 

Use your STEM skills while discovering more about our planet and how to protect it through a monthly program from the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center.  

If you appreciate great beer and great books, meet us at Gypsy Road Brewing Company to enjoy a pint while discussing our book of the month. 

Join us for a preschool Storytime that uses LEGOs and books to promote language and pre-reading skill development. Registration is required.
