Creepy Critters of the Creek

Meet the critters that call our local creeks home! Get up close with live aquatic insects like wriggling larvae and crawling beetles and learn how these tiny creatures help us understand water quality. You'll also make your own gooey black "oil spill" slime to recreate one of the pollutants affecting our waterways. Presented by Kaitlin Chamberlain, senior community educator of the Stormwater Division for the City of Winston-Salem. Recommended for children ages 5-8.
