Meet the creepy critters that call our local creeks home! Get up close with live aquatic insects —like wriggling larvae and crawling beetles —and learn how these tiny creatures help us understand water quality. You’ll also create your own gooey black "oil spill" slime and see how pollution can haunt our waterways in this spooky, hands-on Halloween experience.
Presented by Kaitlin Chamberlain, senior community educator of the Stormwater Division for the City of Winston-Salem.
