Calling all young artists! Join us one afternoon each month for Mini Masters, a fun and hands-on arts and crafts program designed especially for kids.

Science Saturday at Southside is a fun, hands-on way for children and tweens to explore exciting STEM concepts through experiments and activities.

Spend a fun and educational afternoon learning ways to preserve our Earth through its water supply.! How can you stop water pollution? How are climate change and our access to water related? Join us and find out! 

Challenge your brain with food facts and tasty trivia while you delight your taste buds with snacks from other countries. We'll learn about a different country each month. This month's country is Mexico.

Come join us as we celebrate and play the age old game of chess. Open to experienced and beginner players alike.

Bring your artistic and creative talents to the button-making world at the Reynolda Manor Branch Library. All supplies will be provided so feel free to drop in anytime between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. and make up to 5 buttons with us!

Unwind from the school day with a screening of a G or PG movie. On Dec. 11, we'll be showing Elf (Rated PG).

Kids are invited to join our monthly craft group. They'll meet other crafters, use their creativity, and learn to make all sorts of fun projects! Supplies will be provided. Recommended for children ages 6-12. 

Create a beautiful snowflake nightlight to get you through the long winter nights.

Join us for a festive, hands-on STEM adventure and make your very own Light-Up Christmas Card! Kids ages 6–11 will learn how to use simple circuits and LED lights to create cards that actually glow.

Play battle games, meet up with other fans, trade cards, and more at the Pokémon Club.

Kids and teens are invited to drop in to play multiplayer video games on the Nintendo Switch with other kids.

Learn about nutrition and simple, healthy recipes from community nutritionist Kerry Leonard.

Get in the holiday spirit by celebrating all things Grinchy at Grinch Day! We'll read How the Grinch Stole Christmas, sing Grinchy songs, play Grinchy games, and do Grinchy crafts. 

Kids will have fun learning about healthy eating, smart food choices, and nutrition through hands-on activities, games, and delicious food demos. This program is a great way to build healthy habits.

Recommended for children ages 6-11

Drop in to play Xbox and Meta Quest video games. Ride a virtual rollercoaster with Santa! Experience your Roblox games on the VR headset! Play Fortnite on the Xbox! Stop in for a Mario Kart battle with your friends!

Stop by the library for a crafty afternoon! Different supplies will be out each month so you can always be creative, have fun, and make something new.

Children, tweens, and teens of all ages are welcome.
