Event Details

Explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math at our monthly STEAM programs. Recommended for children ages 8-12.

For Women’s History Month, attendees will learn about Margaret Hamilton, whose coding for NASA saved the first lunar landing, by reading Margaret and the Moon by Dean Robbins. Then we will use beads and pipe-cleaners to make bracelets that spell out participants’ initials in binary code.
