STEAM for Tweens: Geometric Bubbles

Explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math at our monthly STEAM programs. Recommended for children ages 8-12.

Can bubbles be triangular? Square? In May, we will put this question to the test. Attendees will start by reading TANGLED by Anne Miranda, a book about two- and three-dimensional shapes. Then we’ll put our geometry skills to use to build bubble wands out of pipe-cleaners and see what happens when our bubbles wands are squares or cubes.
