Event Details
Join us for a reenactment of the life of Harriet Tubman, the abolitionist who led many enslaved people to freedom through the Underground Railroad. Writer/performer Diane Faison is a local artist and retired teacher who says she refuses to let the lessons from history fade. Faison has performed this play at numerous school, churches and senior living communities and has received grants and awards. Won’t you come out for this special event as we near the celebration of Black History Month in February. Registration is preferred. To register, call the Lewisville Branch at 336-703-2940.
