Through stories and interactive play, toddlers will build language skills, discover new words, while exploring letters and sounds. Learn with music, picture books, rhymes and even explore other languages.

Your little ones will explore board books, finger plays and lap-bounce activities to encourage language development, brain stimulation, and socialization.

Preschoolers will develop language and pre-reading skills through stories and songs to help facilitate their growth into successful readers.

Recommended for 3-5-year-olds and their caregivers. 

Join us for the morning session of our monthly gardening class as Master Gardener Bob LePere teaches best practices for managing a successful garden. There is also an evening class on the following Thursday.

Join your mind and body in this beginner-level yoga class led by Registered Yoga Teacher Jane Holtje.  All equipment is provided. All you need are comfortable clothes that allow movement and some water. 

Join Ms. Stefanie and the garden staff for stories, songs, and garden activities. Ages 6 and under. This storytime is usually held outdoors but may be held indoors in the case of inclement weather.

Learn the basics of computer use Paddison Memorial Branch's first Computer Training Bridge class.  Introduction to Computer Basics will focus on learning how a computer works, from turning it on to computer commands.

Attention chess players of all ages: You are invited to play chess at Clemmons Branch Library every 4th Tuesday of the month from 4-5:30 p.m. Learn new strategies and meet new friends!

The Rural Hall Middle Grade Book Club is open to all children 8-12. This  new book club meets the second Tuesday of each month. We will discuss a book during each meeting and do a small craft or activity related to the book.

Large creatures that live underground terrorize an isolated town in the Nevada desert. 

This group welcomes all needlework artists at any skill level to chat and work on individual needlework projects and peruse needlework books from the library’s collection.
