Children are invited to Kids’ Art Hour to create different art project each month.  

In January we’ll make winter forest art with pastels. 

Program recommended for children ages 6-12. All materials provided. 

Looking for a creative, welcoming space to connect and craft? Our inclusive fiber arts club, Hooks & Books is open to all ages and skill levels — whether you're just picking up a needle or you're a seasoned stitcher!

Forsyth County Department of Social Services (DSS) staff members will be on site one day per week to answer residents’ questions, provide information, and help people apply for DSS services including energy programs, food and nutrition assistance,

Whether you're a beginner or a more experienced player, improve your game by playing with others.  

Program recommended for teens ages 12-18.

Children will grow into successful readers through stories, songs, and activities

Recommended for children ages 3-5 and their caregivers. 

Join us at the Rural Hall/Stanleyville Branch Library for Fourth Friday Family Films. Enjoy a G- or PG-rated film with the family. Snacks will be provided.

January's film is Dog Man (rated PG).

Join us as we explore board books, finger plays and lap-bounce activities that help encourage language development, brain stimulation, and socialization.

This long-standing book club covers a wide range of genres with each participant selecting a title for their assigned month. 

We select our books a few months at a time, so watch this space for updates.

Are you mad for manga? Meet up with other teen manga fans to discuss Japanese comic books and graphic novels, while enjoying some Japanese snacks.
