Celebrate Star Wars Day with a short Storytime, crafts, activities, and a special scavenger hunt. Costumes encouraged.

Calling all teens! Dive into the world of Dungeons & Dragons at your local library. Unleash your creativity, embark on epic quests, and forge new friendships in a fun, inclusive environment.

Schedule some time just for you and join us for conversation, crafts, and snacks.

We select our crafts a few months at a time, so check back.

The Book Lovers' Book Club reads a variety of titles, including some nonfiction. Book Club members take turns facilitating.  

Titles are selected six months to a year in advance.

Forsyth County Department of Social Services (DSS) staff members will be on site one day per week to answer residents’ questions, provide information, and help people apply for DSS services including energy programs, food and nutrition assistance,

Join us at the Rural Hall/Stanleyville Branch for a Sensory Storytime tailored for children with autism, ADHD, or other sensory processing challenges.

Chair yoga boosts strength, flexibility, and mental well-being from the comfort and stability of a chair. This class is led by Registered Yoga Instructor Jane Holtje. All equipment is provided. 

Children will build language skills, explore letters and sounds, and discover new words through stories, music, rhymes, and interactive play.

The Tuesday at Two Book Club reads books selected by the members that are a mixture of fiction (all genre) and non-fiction. This is a perfect group to join to socialize and discuss books.

This long-standing book club covers a wide range of genres with each participant selecting a title for their assigned month. 

We select our books a few months at a time, so watch this space for updates. 

Join us at Family STEAM Time to make learning fun! From robotics and coding to arts and crafts, we have exciting hands-on activities for curious minds every week.

Join us in the Central Library Makerspace every Tuesday evening for a crafty extravaganza! Every other week will have a featured craft, with freeform crafting during the weeks between.

Children and tweens are invited to use their imaginations and problem-solving skills while building with blocks, LEGOs, Cubelets, Play-Doh, and more.

Recommended for children and tweens ages 4-8 and families.

Explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math at our monthly STEAM programs. Recommended for children ages 8-12.

Let’s turn books into art! We will be upcycling old books by artistically folding pages to create 3D designs.   

Join other men in supportive discussions regarding topics such as health, community, and fatherhood.  These meetings are hosted in cooperation with the Forsyth County Department of Public Health.
