Join us for our hybrid teen book club! Each month we will meet in person and online. In this book club, you’ll pick one of the two prompts, read a book that fits the prompt, then join us at one of the libraries or via Zoom. 

Blast off into a world of relaxation at Walkertown Branch Library! Join us for "Cosmic Calm," an out-of-this-world workshop where teens will create their own shimmering galaxy therapy dough.

Grade schoolers, tweens, teens, and adults are invited to drop in and play video games and use the MetaQuest headsets at the Clemmons Branch library on select Saturdays from 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Saturday Crafterday: Stop by the library anytime from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. to use craft supplies to make whatever you want. Different supplies will be out each Saturday so you can always be creative and make something new.

Would you like to learn how to paint flowers, birds, and other denizens of nature? Local artist Donna Calloway will be offering beginners acrylic painting classes on the 3rd Saturday and 4th Thursday of each month from 2-4:30 p.m.

Come join us as we celebrate and play the age old game of chess. Open to experienced and beginner players alike.

Learn about nutrition and basic cooking skills from community nutritionist, Kerry Leonard. Participants will get to help prepare and eat a snack based on the lesson of the day.    

Join us for an information filled evening with Rhett Kyle with the North Carolina Cooperative Extension as we learn about financial literacy. This program is designed for those ages 13-18. 

Bring a friend, family member, or just yourself to play board games. Light snacks will be provided. Signed food waiver required. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult or older sibling. All ages are welcome.

Attention chess players of all ages: You are invited to play chess at Clemmons Branch Library every 4th Tuesday of the month from 4-5:30 p.m. Learn new strategies and meet new friends!

Want to learn to how to prepare and cook healthy foods?

Then come to the Southside Branch on May 27 at 5:00 p.m. to learn how to make fruit salad with professional chef, Chef Floyd! 

The American Red Cross mobile lab will be onsite at the Lewisville Branch Library on Wednesday, May 28 for blood and platelet donations. Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome. Masks are not required.
