Would you like to learn how to paint flowers, birds, and other denizens of nature? Local artist Donna Calloway teaches acrylic painting classes on the third Saturday and fourth Thursday of each month from 2-4:30 p.m.

Children are invited to Kids’ Art Hour to create different art project each month.  

In January we’ll make winter forest art with pastels. 

Program recommended for children ages 6-12. All materials provided.

The Library's Makerspace at Forsyth County Central Library has 3D printers, sewing machines, and other technology as well as space and worktables for large creative projects. Access to Makerspace equipment is first come, first served. 

The Classic Gold Music Jam provides a welcoming venue for musicians at all levels to enjoy fellowship and music. Bring an instrument to play or grab a chair and watch.

Create a simple craft with us based on the Storytime theme of the week.  Recommended for ages 3-6 and their caregivers.

Create a winter themed masterpiece. With instruction by Kevin Casteel, you will paint your own piece of art. Supplies are limited. Registration is required.

Stop by for a wood carving demonstration by the Triad Woodcarvers Club.

Learn the basics of creating melt-and-pour soap. Participants will get to make and take home their own soap bar using molds.
