This is a program that allows children to explore creek life through hands-on play, crafts, and games it is a great way to help children develop skills and learn about the environment.

While building gross and fine motor skills, coordination and phonological awareness through rhyming, participants will engage in songs, movement activities and stories that promote the skills needed for reading and writing.

Celebrate Women's History Month by stopping by the Central Library to speak with some truly amazing women in our community! Be inspired by their stories of the goals and careers they have achieved and how you can too.

Learn about nutrition and basic cooking skills from community nutritionist, Kerry Leonard. Participants will get to help prepare and eat a snack based on the lesson of the day.    

Unwind from the school week and celebrate Forsyth Creek Week by watching The Lorax (Rated PG). A program waiver is required to enjoy popcorn and drinks, and while the movie is aimed at school-age children, all ages are welcome.

Attention chess players of all ages: You are invited to play chess at Clemmons Branch Library every 4th Tuesday of the month from 4-5:30 p.m. Learn new strategies and meet new friends!

Join us as we celebrate Forsyth Creek Week at the Rural Hall/Stanleyville Branch Library! Children will conduct a simple experiment to learn about water molecules and capillary action. 

Children aged 4 through tweens are invited to do fun (and MESSY!) STEAM activities at Clemmons Branch Library on the fourth Wednesdays of the month from 4-5:30 p.m.

Join us monthly as we build, create, and explore with LEGOs at the Reynolda Manor Branch Library. We will create with LEGOs based on a pre-determined theme and then show off our awesome creations to all our friends. 

Embark on a creative journey with our LEGO Club, which brings children together to explore the wonderful world of LEGO building. Recommended for children ages 6-11.

Bring a friend, family member, or just yourself to play board games. Light snacks will be provided. Signed food waiver required. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult or older sibling. All ages are welcome.
