Stop by the library for a crafty afternoon! Different supplies will be out each month so you can always be creative, have fun, and make something new.

Children, tweens, and teens of all ages are welcome.

Our Spring Break week continues with a special edition of Lit in the Library program! Join us for an afternoon of books, arts and crafts, activities, snacks, and more! Our books include Wings of Fire by Tui T.

More Spring Break fun with our Games Day! Stop by the library to play some of your favorite games. We have board games, video games, and lawn games (weather permitting). We hope to see you there!  

We're reading some amazing books in the Central Children's Library that we want to share! Join us to hear snippets of some of our favorite reads that we think you will love too and enjoy fun activities and crafts based on the books. 

Come and spend time with different critters you can find at local creeks. Learn all about their habitats and habits from the City of Winston-Salem, and if you’re lucky, you might even get to hold one! 

We are kicking off Spring Break week with a fun craft project! Use ribbon and tulle to create a beautiful tutu you can show off to your friends!  

Program recommended for children ages 5-8.

The Pixel Art and Perler Beads Club is a monthly craft program designed to engage children through hands-on creativity inspired by popular video games and pixel art culture.

Continue having fun during Spring Break week with a tween program designed to get the creative juices flowing! Turn trash into treasure to create various fashion trends in our Tween Trashion Show! Will your design be out, or in?  

Kids are invited to join our monthly craft group. They'll meet other crafters, use their creativity, and learn to make all sorts of fun projects! Supplies will be provided. Recommended for children ages 6-12. 

Learn about nutrition and simple, healthy recipes from community nutritionist Kerry Leonard.

Use your STEM skills while discovering more about our planet and how to protect it through a program from the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center.
