Afterschool Activity: Air Fresheners

Join us for a science-scented adventure at the library! On Wednesday, April 15, 2026, from 3:30–4:30 PM, kids ages 6–11 can dive into a STEM-inspired Afterschool Activity all about the science of smells. Participants will explore how chemistry and evaporation work while creating their own homemade air fresheners to take home. As they mix ingredients, experiment with scents, and watch science in action, kids will discover how molecules and materials interact to release fresh fragrances over time. It’s the perfect blend of science, creativity, and fun — and everything you need is provided! Come explore the sweet side of STEM and make something that smells amazing!
