Children are invited to our monthly LEGO club to build, create, and explore with LEGOs. We will build based on a pre-determined theme and then show off our awesome creations to all our friends. 

The Library's Makerspace at Forsyth County Central Library has 3D printers, sewing machines, and other technology as well as space and worktables for large creative projects. Access to Makerspace equipment is first come, first served.

Join us at Central Library for Sittercise, an exercise program that helps with strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, endurance, and overall improved function. 

This storytime offers families the opportunity to enjoy quality time together through interactive read-aloud sessions, songs, and age-appropriate activities. 

Children will enjoy stories, songs, and movement activities that promote a love for books and reading with family and friends.  

Recommended for children ages 6 and under and their caregivers. 

Drop in to play Xbox and Meta Quest video games. Ride a virtual rollercoaster with Santa! Experience your Roblox games on the VR headset! Play Fortnite on the Xbox! Stop in for a Mario Kart battle with your friends!

Stop by the library for a crafty afternoon! Different supplies will be out each month so you can always be creative, have fun, and make something new.

Children, tweens, and teens of all ages are welcome.

Science Saturday at Southside is a fun, hands-on way for children and tweens to explore exciting STEM concepts through experiments and activities.

 Read and sing with your baby while exposing them to new sights, sounds, and expressions during this fun and lively Storytime.  

 Recommended for babies up to 18 months and their caregivers. 

Whether you are a seasoned crafter or just want to learn, consider joining Triad Sip & Stitch, our library’s weekly knitting and crochet group.

Join us as we explore board books, finger plays and lap-bounce activities that help encourage language development, brain stimulation, and socialization.
