February is American Hearth Month! Join us at Carver School Road Branch Library on February 12 at 11 a.m. to learn about how to prevent and manage heart disease, high blood pressure, and related chronic conditions.

While building gross and fine motor skills, coordination and phonological awareness through rhyming, participants will engage in songs, movement activities and stories that promote the skills needed for reading and writing.

The homeless caucus convenes to strategically discuss and collaborate on services for the homeless population within our community.

Come listen to lively ukulele music performed by the Ukulele Circle! Performers of all levels are welcomed to participate in the jam session and listeners of all ages are invited to a wonderful musical experience.

On Tuesday, Feb. 11 the Clemmons Branch Library will host the American Red Cross Bus for a blood drive from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Would you like to learn how to paint flowers, birds, and other denizens of nature? Local artist Donna Calloway will be offering beginners acrylic painting classes on the 3rd Saturday and 4th Thursday of each month from 2-4:30 p.m.

Love playing board games and cards? So do we! Join us at the Walkertown Branch library for fun and games.

This seminar is designed for nonprofit organizations interested in gaining the fundamentals of grant writing. Participants will be equipped with the knowledge to complete and submit a grant packet.
