Whether you are a seasoned crafter or just want to learn, consider joining Triad Sip & Stitch, our library’s weekly knit and crochet group.  

Join us for a fun morning of coloring, coffee and community. You can also bring your own projects to work on. Coloring supplies and coffee will be provided. 

Our monthly Witchy Washy and Whatnot Crafting group is a great way to meet other crafters and learn to make all sorts of fun projects, many of which include the use of washi tape! 

Maker Mornings are intended to bring together adults who enjoy working on do-it-yourself projects and trying new forms of art.

Color & Coffee is a morning to relax, color, be with others and enjoy a cup of coffee on the house. Coloring sheets, colored pencils and coffee will be available for participants. 

Take your crochet skills to the next level with our Advanced Crochet Class! This course is designed for experienced crocheters ready to refine their techniques, explore intricate patterns, and master complex stitches.

Preschoolers can learn new words and stimulate their brains with crafts that include different colors, shapes, and textures and relate to the weekly Storytime theme.

Recommended for children ages 3-6 and their caregivers.

Saturday Crafterday: Stop by the library anytime from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to use craft supplies to make whatever you want. Different supplies will be out each Saturday so you can always be creative and make something new.

Join us every Monday from 1-3 PM at the Walkertown Branch Library for our weekly Crochet and Knitting Class! Whether you've always wanted to learn these timeless crafts or are looking to refresh your skills, this class is perfect for you.

Would you like to learn how to paint flowers, birds, and other denizens of nature? Local artist Donna Calloway will be offering beginners acrylic painting classes on the 3rd Saturday and 4th Thursday of each month from 2-4:30 p.m.

Join us at Rural Hall Branch to complete a different art project. This month we'll be making coffee filter flowers.

Most suitable for ages 6-12. Materials provided.

Grow your skillz with our Woodworking for Beginners for Tweens! Learn how wood projects are created and assemble your own wooden car with supplies provided. This program is intended for tweens ages 8-12.

Do you play the Pokémon battle game, or would you like to learn how? Do you want to meet with other Pokémon lovers? Love trading your Pokémon cards? Join our Pokémon club! Beginners are welcome. For children through teens and families.

The Library's Makerspace at Forsyth County Central Library has 3D printers, sewing machines, and other technology as well as space and worktables for large creative projects. Access to Makerspace equipment is first come, first served. 

Create spring flower themed masterpiece. With instruction by Paint, Palette, Pizzazz, you will paint your own piece of art. On Tuesday, May 20 from 5:30-7 p.m. in the Central Library Makerspace. This is an 18+ program. Spots are limited.

This group welcomes all needlework artists at any skill level to chat and work on individual needlework projects and peruse needlework books from the library’s collection. 

The Classic Gold Music Jam provides a welcoming venue for musicians at all levels to enjoy fellowship and music. Bring an instrument to play or grab a chair and watch.
