Children will build literacy skills through books and improve their fine motor skills by doing crafts that will introduce them to various art mediums and techniques.

Join Miss Priscilla at the Reynolda Manor Branch Library weekly on Mondays at 10:30 a.m. for a fun-filled 30 minutes of stories, songs, and more.

Music & Movement is a program that engages children (as well as seniors) in very light physical activity. This program also encourages skills for school readiness such as, social-emotional, motor, language and over all literacy.

Preschoolers can learn new words and stimulate their brains with crafts that include different colors, shapes, and textures and relate to the weekly Storytime theme.

Recommended for children ages 3-6 and their caregivers.

Mad Science of the Triad is headed to the Forsyth County Public Libraries! Enjoy exciting science experiments that Color Your World!

Children will develop creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills by finding solutions to various LEGO engineering design challenges. 

Messy Mondays are an engaging way for children to explore the world through sensory play! We will have hands-on activities to foster creativity, curiosity, and development.

Boost your creativity and focus by learning the art of paper folding to create various shapes and figures. We’ll also have books and materials available to you to help you continue the fun at home. Recommended for children ages 6-11.

Join us Wednesday afternoons for our Summer STEM Series! Each week we will explore a different element of science, technology, engineering, and math through play and experimentation. Ages 5-8.

Celebrate "Our Colorful World: Stories, Songs, People, Craft, and Nature" with a music performance by folk singer Jon Sundell. Enjoy songs, slide shows, stories, and craft exhibitions--and take home your own balloon animal! For all ages.

We are excited to have the City of Winston-Salem join us for a special program! Come and spend time with different critters you can find at the creek. Learn all about their habitats and habits, and you might even get to hold them!

Children aged 4 through tweens are invited to do fun (and MESSY!) STEAM activities. We are repeating some of the most popular STEAM activities this summer.

Bring your artistic talents to the button-making world at the Reynolda Manor Branch Library. We will be hosting a special summer series for colorful and creative button making!

Encourage kids to read and be creative by making photo bookmarks. We’ll provide all the needed supplies, and they’ll leave with personalized keepsakes for their favorite books. Registration required. Recommended for children ages 3-11.
