Event Details

Bingocize® is a fun exercise program designed to increase physical activity, nutrition knowledge, and social engagement. It’s a powerful way to bring health education to life in a joyful and inclusive setting.
Bingocize® combines fun and familiar Bingo games, light physical activity (seated or standing), and nutrition and health education.

This program is recommended for older adults and people with limited mobility.

If you can't make it to the Central Library, Reynolda Manor Branch Library is also hosting Bingocize® on Wednesdays from 10-11 a.m.

 

In this session, participants will,

- Falls Prevention

- How healthcare providers can help manage medications to reduce fall risks

- Medication side effects that can lead to falls

- Types of medications that can cause dizziness

- Chronic conditions that can increase the risks of falls

- Encouragement for assessments for fall risks

- Nutrition

- Types of fats

- The difference between saturated and unsaturated fats

- Oils and healthy fats

- Learn Sixteen 30-second exercises

- 8 -9 rounds of Bingo
