Family STEAM Time: Kabuto Helmets

Join us at Family STEAM Time to make learning fun! From robotics and coding to arts and crafts, we have exciting hands-on activities for curious minds every week.

From April to early May, families in Japan display miniature samurai dolls in armor called yoroi and military helmets called kabuto to celebrate Children’s Day on May 5th. Come learn about these different traditions and make origami kabuto helmets to wear. 

Program recommended for ages 5 and older. Caregivers welcome to attend!
