Children will build literacy skills through books and improve their fine motor skills by doing crafts that will introduce them to various art mediums and techniques.

Ideal for children ages birth to 10 years and their caregivers. 

Whether you are a seasoned crafter or just want to learn, consider joining Triad Sip & Stitch, our library’s weekly knit and crochet group.  This group meets every Monday from 9:30 a.m.

Join us on the front lawn of the Central Library every Monday for fun self-directed activities exploring arts, innovation, reading, and community. 

Transform ordinary ceramic tiles into stunning, one-of-a-kind coasters using the mesmerizing technique of alcohol ink marbling.

Color & Coffee is a morning to relax, color, be with others and enjoy a cup of coffee on the house. Coloring sheets, colored pencils and coffee will be available for participants. 

The Library's Makerspaces at Clemmons Branch Library, Forsyth County Central Library, and Paddison Memorial Branch Library have 3D printers, sewing machines, and other technology as well as space and worktables for large creative projects.

This class is for beginners they will learn how to start a project, work basic stitches, rows and rounds, change colors, determine gauge and sizing, and read instructions.

Please bring your own supplies.

Preschoolers can learn new words and stimulate their brains with crafts that include different colors, shapes, and textures and relate to the weekly Storytime theme.

Join us for a fun morning of coloring, coffee and community. You can also bring your own projects to work on. Coloring supplies and coffee will be provided.

Join us every Monday from 1-3 PM at the Walkertown Branch Library for our weekly Crochet and Knitting Class! Whether you've always wanted to learn these timeless crafts or are looking to refresh your skills, this class is perfect for you.

This group welcomes all needlework artists at any skill level to chat and work on individual needlework projects and peruse needlework books from the library’s collection.

Boost your creativity and focus by learning the art of paper folding to create various shapes and figures. We’ll also have books and materials available to you to help you continue the fun at home. Recommended for children ages 6-11.

Children will create collages on wooden boards using liquid watercolor and seashells.

Most suitable for children ages 6-12. Materials provided.

Join us for a artistic filled summer this year as we Color Our World during Summer Reading Program. Each week we will tackle a different avenue of art and create a unique project. 

Join us at the Walkertown Branch Library for this swinging fun paint craft. With your family, learn about gravity, inertia, and other forces while you create a one-of-a-kind painting.

For this Tween Tuesday we are turning 2D into 3D with CubeeCrafts! Create your favorite characters to take home. All supplies provided. For ages 9-12.

The Library's Makerspace at Forsyth County Central Library has 3D printers, sewing machines, and other technology as well as space and worktables for large creative projects. Access to Makerspace equipment is first come, first served. 

Bring your artistic talents to the button-making world at the Reynolda Manor Branch Library. We will be hosting a special summer series for colorful and creative button making!

Our handprint keychain craft is a fun hands-on activity for children ages 3-11 to create a special keepsake using Shrinky Dinks.
