Children will build literacy skills through books and improve their fine motor skills by doing crafts that will introduce them to various art mediums and techniques.

Ideal for children ages birth to 10 years and their caregivers. 

Whether you are a seasoned crafter or just want to learn, consider joining Triad Sip & Stitch, our library’s weekly knit and crochet group.  This group meets every Monday from 9:30 a.m.

Rock your world at the Walkertown Branch library. We will design and paint a rock to take home or leave at the library for our colorful summer display. All materials provided-just bring yourself and your imagination!

Our monthly Witchy Washy and Whatnot Crafting group is a great way to meet other crafters and learn to make all sorts of fun projects, many of which include the use of washi tape! 

Preschoolers can learn new words and stimulate their brains with crafts that include different colors, shapes, and textures and relate to the weekly Storytime theme.

Would you like to learn how to paint flowers, birds, and other denizens of nature? Local artist Donna Calloway will be offering beginners acrylic painting classes on the 3rd Saturday and 4th Thursday of each month from 2-4:30 p.m.

Join us at Rural Hall Branch to complete a different art project each month. This month, we'll be making glitter star mobiles.

Most suitable for ages 6-12. Materials provided.

Learn about the basics of color theory and ways to create dimension at the Lewisville Branch Library. Students will apply the concepts taught by local artist Nannette Davis using the mediums of watercolor paint and colored pencil.

For this art hour, teens and tweens will be making fun crafts with Perler Beads! All supplies provided.

Join us for an artistic-filled summer this year as we Color Our World during Summer Reading Program. Each week we will tackle a different avenue of art and create a unique project. 

Learn a new hobby and play with yarn in this Tween Tuesday adventure! Create beautiful Macramé to take home and hang on your wall. All supplies provided. For ages 9-12.

Join instructor Kasey Terran as we learn to make wire-wrapped jewelry. This two-hour course will explore different techniques of wire wrapped jewelry creation. Registration is required.

The Library's Makerspace at Forsyth County Central Library has 3D printers, sewing machines, and other technology as well as space and worktables for large creative projects. Access to Makerspace equipment is first come, first served. 

This group welcomes all needlework artists at any skill level to chat and work on individual needlework projects and peruse needlework books from the library’s collection. 

The Classic Gold Music Jam provides a welcoming venue for musicians at all levels to enjoy fellowship and music. Bring an instrument to play or grab a chair and watch.
