STEM Explorers

Join us for a monthly hands-on STEAM class presented by the North Carolina Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center.

Recommended for children ages 5-11.

This month's topic is "Pumpkin Pie in a Bag." Youth will recognize how the pioneers used pumpkins for nourishment and enjoyment. Youth will make pumpkin pie in a bag in an assembly line and will reflect on the skills early settlers needed to make and prepare food. 

A program waiver is required for children to enjoy refreshments. You can pick one up at the circulation desk of any FCPL library branch or download and print the attached file. Once signed, a program waiver is good for a year. If your participant has allergies or food restrictions, let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate them.
