AARP Foundation WS Tax-Aide will be providing free tax assistance by appointment only.

Forsyth County Department of Social Services (DSS) staff members will be on site one day per week to answer residents’ questions, provide information, and help people apply for DSS services including energy programs, food and nutrition assistance,

Children will grow into successful readers through stories, songs, and activities.  

Recommended for children ages 3-5 and their caregivers. 

Join us at the Rural Hall/Stanleyville Branch for a Sensory Storytime tailored for children with autism, ADHD, or other sensory processing challenges.

Join your mind and body in this beginner-level yoga class led by Registered Yoga Teacher Jane Holtje.  All equipment is provided. All you need are comfortable clothes (that allow movement), maybe a water, and let's get started. 

Children will grow into successful readers through stories, songs, and activities.

The Tuesday at Two Book Club reads books selected by the members that are a mixture of fiction (all genre) and non-fiction. This is a perfect group to join to socialize and discuss books.  

Forsyth County Genealogical Society meeting and program. Everyone welcome!

This long-standing book club covers a wide range of genres with each participant selecting a title for their assigned month. 

We select our books a few months at a time, so watch this space for updates. 

Join us monthly for STEAM programs for ages 8-11. This month we'll celebrate Black History Month and make art projects in the style of a famous African American artist. Registration is required.

Join us in the Central Library Makerspace every Tuesday evening for a crafty extravaganza! Every other week will have a featured craft, with freeform crafting during the weeks between.

Explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math at our monthly STEAM programs. Recommended for children ages 8-12.

First Tuesdays from 5-6 p.m.
This program for teens ages 12-18.

Learn to make vegetarian chili from professional chef Floyd Davis. No experience in the kitchen required. Program waivers are required.

Join other men in supportive discussions regarding topics such as health, community, and fatherhood.  These meetings are hosted in cooperation with the Forsyth County Department of Public Health.   

Come in your pajamas and enjoy stories, songs, and bedtime-themed crafts that promote a love for books and reading with family and friends.

Recommended for children ages 18 months to 3 years and their caregivers. 

Bingocize combines fun and familiar Bingo games and light physical activity (seated or standing) with nutrition and health education to create a joyful and inclusive setting for social engagement. 

Tai Chi is a form of gentle exercise, a method of moving meditation and a means of cultivating health and well-being. Tai Chi is suitable for all ages and abilities, so it's never too late to start.
